PAWHUSKA — A man is listed in serious condition following a collision with a semi Tuesday morning.

The Highway Patrol reports that  Pritchard, 38, was transported to a hospital in Pawhuska and then air lifted to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa with arm, head, and trunk external injuries.

The accident reportedly occurred at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 60 west of Pawhuska, east of County Road 5902 in Osage County.
OHP reports that Pritchard was driving a 1992 Chevrolet Astro van eastbound on U.S. 60 when the 2000 Freightliner driven by Richard Simon, 46, Prue, traveling in front of him slowed to turn right.
Pritchard rear ended the truck and was pinned for 30 minutes before being freed by rescue workers.

OHP cites inattentive driving as the cause of the accident.
