Life has been a whirlwind of emotions. My sweet mom was taken from this world too soon. She was diagnosed with ALS on October 26, 2016. We traveled to SC and stayed on Myrtle Beach for 10 days. We came back through TN and stayed in pigeon Forge Tennessee for 3 days. It was the best trio of my life. I got to spend time with my mom and my dad without interruptions or a schedule of time. In October of 2017, we took another trip to Nashville, TN and ended up spending 3 days in Branson on the way home. Mom was a little more depended on the wheelchair this trip. In March of 2018 we took a great trip to Hugo, Ok to an elephant enchanted encampment. My mom said that was the best day of her life. While my mom is missed deeply daily, she did love her life to the fullest and I have amazing memories to think about daily.
Our new way of life is hard. I have days that it is hard to just think of things. But, I know mom is looking down and watching out for us.
