Please Pray

This is baby Garrison. He was born on Monday Sept. 29th.
Right now, we are just asking for prayers. Prayers for the family and baby Garrison. Things are really starting to look up, however, he is still in the NICU. This little guy has been through a lot in his little 5 days.
This family is wonderful friends of ours that moved to Nebraska 2 years ago. Garrison's daddy was Ch's 1st youth minister. They moved on to bless other families with Children.
Please remember them in your prayers tonight. Thank you !!!

Conversation with D tonight.

"Mom" he said
"I am really really sick tonight"
Mom said "really, what is wrong"
He said , "I am really sick and I need to sleep in your bed".
Of course we said "NO" and the crying started. He is fine now and is his bed. However you see, he was sick about 2 weeks ago with cough and fever. Well, we had to give him breathing treatments every four hours. So, for 2 night we aloud him to sleep with us. Now he thinks, if he is sick, he can sleep with us. So, he thinks he is sick. The minds of the small, that dream big. LOL.....

Scarecrow 2008- GO SOONERS!!

WE NEEDED A SCARECROW FOR D'S FAMILY FUN NIGHT AT HIS PRESCHOOL. SO, WE MADE THIS ONE. WE WILL USE IT AT HOME AFTER FRIDAY. Oh, that is our new kitten (4months old) "Pebbles".

First T-ball game.

Him batting.
Him catching!

D- ready to catch!

Slide into home plate!!!

Well, we had our first t-ball game Monday night. D- had a great time. As you see, he slid into 1st. base. He was the catcher the first ending and behind the pitcher the other ending. We are now over at the ball field for 4 games a week. 2 for D and 2 for Br. Br's team won 1st place in the preseason tournament. They received really nice trophies last night.

First days of school!

As most of you know, Ch started school the week before Br and D. So, here are pictures from all their first days. Enjoy.

OUR LOCAL STAR!

She was in the local play put on by The Missoula Children's Theatre. The play was "The Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe". She had a blast. They worked hard 6 hours a day for 4 1/2 days and had 2 performances.

(She is the one in the purple hat)

Question?

Why does it take so much out of us when our children are sick? Man, I am so tired. Dawson was coughing all night Tuesday night, then Wed. he had a fever and throwing up. Now , today. He has energy and I am beat!!!! Why is this ?? Just a thought. Have a great day!!!

Saturday, August 23, 2008

This is known as "beary" at our house. This is my sons sleeping buddy, play buddy etc... My mom gave this to him when he was born. Well, it took me 3 days to find the really name. "Tinker" the Ty bear. His poor bear has been washed so many times. In fact one day it was washed twice. We finally found one that was NEW and only $6.00, thanks to Amazon.com . So, a new beary is on it's way in the mail. We are so excited!!! If we would lose his beary, I wouldn't want to be around. LOL! Anyway, we are looking for another one , to put away. So, keep your eyes open for us. I know there is two more on Amazon, but they are $15.00 and up. To much for me. Have a great day!!!!

I Cried!!!

Well, the first day of school went great for Ch. She was talking about all of it during dinner. You know the stories that take 30 min for one point. It was great. However, I cried that morning before we took pictures . I hugged her and I cried!!! I know "what a baby". But, wait she is my baby. It's going to fast these days. I know she is going to do great again. I know she is very responsible!
She says a lot of her friends are in her classes and she loves the teachers. KC is not in even one of her classes in fact, she didn't even see her. WOW... that is going to be hard, they talk 24/7. This should give her a opportunity to get to know other great people.
Well, the other two kids start next week. B at PCCAon Monday and D Tuesday at the Lutheran School . Please continue to pray for all the kids. Thank You.

School Start tomorrow.

Can you believe that school is start again already? I am not sure that I am ready for that. Yes, we have all the supplies and backpacks, shoes, clothes etc... However, I am already missing the park, movies, swimming and just running around. I am thinking of the lonely days and the time I am going to miss with them. I know , I already went on about the long days in school. So, I will not go on again. Please, just pray for the kids that are going back to school. Thank you .

1 Corinthians 13 for MOMS.

Corinthians 13 for Moms
If I live in a house of spotless beauty with everything in its place, but have not love,
I am a housekeeper, not a homemaker.
If I have time for waxing, polishing, and decorative achievements, but have not love,my children learn cleanliness, not godliness.
If I scream at my children for every infraction, and fault them for every mess they make, but have not love,my children become people-pleasers, not obedient children.
Love leaves the dust in search of a child's laugh.Love smiles at the tiny fingerprints on a newly cleaned window.
Love wipes away the tears before it wipes up the spilled milk.
Love picks up the child before it picks up the toys.
Love accepts the fact that I am the ever-present "mommy,"the taxi-driver to every childhood event, the counselor when my children fail or are hurt.
Love crawls with the baby, walks with the toddler, and runs with the child, then stands aside to let the youth walk into adulthood.
Before I became a mother I took glory in my house of perfection.
Now I glory in God's perfection of my child.
All the projections I had for my house and my childrenhave faded away into insignificance,And what remain are the memories of my kids.
Now there abides in my home scratches on most of the furniture, dishes with missing place settings, and bedroom walls full of stickers, posters and markings,
But the greatest of all is the Love that permeates my relationships with my children.-

School Starts next week!!

The summer is almost over. The long lazy days. Oh how I will miss them. The days at the park, swimming til 9 pm. , the fun movie days, the sleeping in til 7or 8am. I can't believe that school is starting next week. We will be getting up at 6:30 am.,stuffing all the good stuff from 3:30pm-8:30pm. That is not enough time with your kids. I think they could have school be half days and get it over with faster. You know all the home school moms do. Why do they need recess', lunch at school. See, I think they should have school from 8am-noon. Then have lunch at home and the afternoon to relax and have a life. However, this will never happened. So, here we go again. As you can see , I am not fawned of having my kids gone all day. I miss them!!!! Well, for all you moms- I will be crying with you next Wed.
Take care and pray for the kids going back to school. Oh, and the teachers too.Thank you.

The New Play House.

This is my father on the roof. This is his second day. He has worked on it for about 7 days total now. About 2 days left. He works 2 days a week when he is over here. Thanks Dad!!!! Love Ya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Father decided the kids needed a play house. Now, you are thinking, Ch is to old for a play house. Well, this is not a little house. It's 8 ft X 12 ft. It has electric, cable , windows, insulation etc... Just like a real house. It's so neat. He are a few pictures. It's not yet ready, but it's getting closer. We put the first coat of paint on tonight. All 5 of us . What fun!!!!!!!!!!! Here are a few pictures From the start to almost finished. He had a lot of helpers.

Allergy Test!

Last week, we took D in for Allergy testing. They took his blood, not the arms or legs sticking. We went back on Friday, he is Allergic to Eggs (1) and Dust (3). Eggs is low and the dust is high. DUST, it is everywhere. Outside, in the house. I thought my house was clean, however after reading all the ways we need to change. I am thinking we need a glass house. Anyway, he is on Singulair 5mg and Zyrtec. I guess it could be worse. They tested for 22 different things. Only 2 is good, I guess.

Smart Guy in the making.

Well, in the van on the way to town the other morning. D- put his fingers up and pointed to one at a time. He followed each point with Matthew, Mark , Luke and John. "Mom" he said , "These are the Gospels". Wow, I was blown away. Didn't know he would remember all that.
In the same week, he started singing the B-I-B-L-E. Then Thursday evening M & I are talking in the second living room. We hear D ,from the kitchen, say " Salute, I pledge the allegiance to the flag of the Untied States of America, and to the republic of which it stands one nation under God , under divisible with liberty and justice all." It was so cute. He only had two part a little off. We called him in and ask what that was. He said it's the pledge to the Flag. We gave him a High five. He then put his Right hand on his heart and said" it has to be your right, not your left". Then he said it again for us. 3 yrs and 3 months. Way to go. I think we may have another smart one. 3 out of 3 not bad.......
